How much will your service cost me?
We will always try to give you an estimate of our professional fees as early as possible.

Two methods of payment
We offer our clients two alternatives ways to pay for our professional services:
1. Payment in the form of Commission by the financial institution(s) you choose to deal with. This commission is paid directly to us. If the commission we receive is in excess of our normal levels of remuneration, we have a 'fair practice' policy which means we redirect excess commission in order to increase the value of your own contract.
On the other hand, should the amount of commission paid by the financial institution be insufficient to cover our normal levels of remuneration, we would let you know in advance, and then ask you to pay us a residual fee to cover the shortfall. In this circumstance, you would always be free, beforehand, to select an alternative commission-based product.
Just to reiterate: Our commission-based contracts are always set up on 'Normal' terms, and we receive a commission from the Company with whom we have placed your business.
Important note:
Where we arrange a commission-based policy for you with a third-party financial institution, and you subsequently stop paying the regular required premiums prematurely, we reserve the right to charge you an additional fee to recompense us for the amount of professional time and effort we originally spent on advising you, and on arranging your policy.
However, Mayfayre will not charge any additional fee if you were merely exercising your legal right to cancel the policy in accordance with the terms of the cancellation notice sent to you by your product provider.
2. Payment solely in the form of Professional Fees, paid directly by you to Mayfayre.
If you'd prefer to pay for our independent financial advice on a fee-paying basis, we normally let you know in advance how much our fee will be and, once we have your agreement, we will draw up a contract detailing the work we will carry out on your behalf. This will either be a commission-free or a reduced commission contract, depending on the costs and details involved.
